Our Mission: We strive to raise healthy, high quality Mini Rex Rabbits that are competitive at a national level. We work to offer the best stock and advice to new and established breeders. We promote raising and showing rabbits as a fun and rewarding family activity.
We started raising rabbits in 1976. We have been raising Mini Rex since 2001. We currently have a 60 rabbit breeding barn in southwest Michigan.
Caroline Goodall is currently a student at Michigan State University. She has been an national winning Youth exhibitor in the past and now is half of our new mother-daughter Open team. Caroline has won National Mini Rex titles for Sweepstakes, Quality Points and Varieties. She has won ARBA titles in Judging, Breed ID, Royalty, Management and Achievement.
She has won MANY Best of Breed and Best in Show titles with Rose Arbor rabbits! Even though she is not here on a day to day basis she still has a strong influence on the breeding and selection process of our rabbits. She will continue to assist with the 4-H rabbit program in our county as well.
Dori Smith is in charge of the daily operation of the Rose Arbor Rabbitry. She has had show rabbits since she was 16. Dori is now the Superintendent of the Kalamazoo County 4-H Rabbit Program. Dori has a personal mission to help new rabbit owners to have a successful experience.
